Stone Guys installing a kitchen countertop

How it works

From your first message to install day.

We know a kitchen project interrupts your life, so we keep it short and clear. Here is every step, and what you can expect from us at each one.

What happens next

From your first message to install day.

We guide you through the whole process. Here is what to expect, step by step, so you always know where your kitchen is.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your kitchen.

Fill in the form, or call or text (980) 351-2864.

Send photos or your cabinet plans. With your layout and the stone you like, we send you a ballpark price.

  2. Step 2

    Choose your stone with us.

Quartz, granite, quartzite or porcelain. We help you find the one that fits your kitchen.

Want to see the slab in person? Go see it at one of our stone suppliers.

  3. Step 3

    See the layout and sign.

Before we cut, you see where the veins go on your countertops.

Your install date goes in the contract before you sign, and the 7 business days start when you sign and pay the deposit.

  4. Step 4

    Install day.

We fabricate your countertops and install them ourselves.

Old top out, new top in, and a plumber hooks everything back up in the afternoon.

The details

The details, step by step.

What is a ballpark and what is firm, what you sign and when, and what happens on install day.

01

Your estimate

  • Send photos, a sketch or your cabinet plans, and rough measurements if you have them.
  • We send you photos of stone options. Once we have your cabinet layout and the stone you like, we can give you a ballpark price in minutes.
  • Get your online estimate within 24 hours.
  • If you don't have your measurements, Sebastian comes to your home to measure. We bring stone samples when we measure.
  • If the measured square footage matches, your ballpark becomes your price. If it's more or less, the price can move with it.
  • Your estimate lists the stone, the fabrication and the installation as separate lines. Removing your old countertops is its own line too.
  • After your estimate, we follow up with you.

02

Signing

  • Your formal estimate comes by email. When you say yes, you sign your contract online with DocuSign.
  • Your install date goes in the contract before you sign.
  • Larger jobs take a deposit when you sign. Small jobs don’t.
  • You can pay by check, cash, ACH or wire transfer.

03

Fabrication

  • Right after you sign and pay the deposit, we order your slab and tell you your install day.
  • Your slab arrives from the stone supplier in about two business days, and then it is cut and polished.
  • Before we cut, we show you the vein layout.
  • A sink cutout is part of fabrication. An unusual number of cutouts may cost extra.

04

Install day

  • Old top out, new top in, and a plumber hooks everything back up in the afternoon.
  • We remove and haul away your old countertops.
  • Want a full-height backsplash in the same stone? We install that too.
  • Granite does not need yearly resealing. A good sealer lasts about 10 to 15 years.
  • After your job, we send you a link to review us on Google.

Juan and his team were quick to provide a quote and installed the countertop about a week after i signed the contract. They were professional and careful. I have a large farmhouse sink in the main countertop as well as a stove top cut out in the island. My quartz countertop looks wonderful and it was a competitive price. I would recommend.

Island in white stone with soft veins and a brass faucet, with a white range hood and light wood cabinets behind.
He was super responsive to texts and as soon as we picked out a slab from MSI, he ordered it and had it installed the next week! His installers were amazing as well! … You won’t regret going with Sebastian and his team!

Response from the owner
